Senior Engineer, BCDC San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission. Salary : $6,465.00 - $7,857.00 / month The award-winning San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission (BCDC) is a small state agency located in San Francisco’s Financial District. BCDC is looking to fill one full-time, permanent Senior Engineer position to provide technical advice to BCDC on engineering matters; serve as staff liaison to BCDC’s Engineering Critical Review Board; plan, organize and coordinate engineering investigations and studies; evaluate the engineering aspects of proposed projects along the shoreline of San Francisco Bay that involve filling or dredging to determine whether the proposal is consistent with state and federal laws and BCDC’s policies; prepare staff reports and recommendations on the proposals and on other engineering matters and comment on environmental documents for projects involving engineering. DEPUTY CITY ENGINEER, CITY OF ROHNERT PARK, CA. Situated in beautiful Sonoma County 45 miles north of San Francisco, the scenic and family friendly City of Rohnert Park (pop. 43,000) seeks an experienced engineering professional with a customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal and communication skills to serve as the City’s first Deputy City Engineer. Reporting to the Director of Public Works/City Engineer, this is a newly-created position providing leadership and direction for the Engineering Division of Public Works. The Deputy supervises four engineering staff members and will help implement the City’s $116 million, five-year Capital Improvements Plan. Over the next 15 years, Engineering will process specific plan development projects totaling over $2 billion including over 4,000 housing units. As this position requires significant interaction with a number of internal and external stakeholders, successful candidates will possess a high level of interpersonal and communication skills. SUPERVISING CIVIL ENGINEERING (GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING OPTION). Annual Salary $98,883.20-$120,244.80. Alameda County Public Works Agency is accepting applications for the position of Supervising Civil Engineer (Geotechnical Engineering Option). This position is in charge of a permanent organizational unit in the Development Services Department.
